the riches of water
The smoothing flush and gush
rush of freshness melds the stoniest
within its path,
shadows leave no lasting print
upon its passing.
Life breathes upon the impermeable
where merest touch spawns green.
Constant flow cleanses,
splashes bejewel and sparkle
and always there is the song of the stream.
This is the richness of water
and the Spirit of God.
