The last procession
The finality of returning;
in procession She returns,
decorated like a present
for some special occasion.
The solemn funeral march,
the swirling mourning of pipes
and the occasional clash of bell,
mark her returning.
Windsor greets her,
the open tomb expects her,
and, crown and sceptre resigned,
peace awaits.
