Wisteria

Tumbling from its branches
a waterfall of blue
and memories.
Spring at Wrest Park
reminisces
Spring at Trent Park
and early love.

The heady perfume
clings and climbs
and intertwines the air
in echo of its stem
and the matrimony
of lives.

In the closing of an eye
the years fall away;
only the intervention
of two generations
prove the passing of time
and the fruiting
of years.
