A wander within;
darkness gathers
its flock of random images.
Drawn between coverlets of colour
and the regal drapes of imagination,
night comes.
Sonorous sleep
discards its quiet
to echo and magnify
dissident landscapes.
The unsought underworld,
a subversive, subterranean,
cavernous mouth of dream
calls Jonah to the deep.
