Ring the bell
“ring the bell that still can ring
forget the perfect offering
there's a crack in everything
that's the way the light gets in”

there's a crack in everything
that's the way the light gets in”

their voices in choirful
coloured notes
in chordant hues.
This is not the tolling
of deaths dark hand
or beacon peal
or warning clang.
This, this is celebration;
gold frankincense and myrrh
quavering joyous
in accent song.
This, this is jubilee
wondrous star resonance
in the melody of night.
And as once in royal bleak winter
when faithful herald angels sang
to watchful shepherds in a silent night
the realms of glory again
ding dong their merriance.
so here's the man himself:
