Set me (23/3/21 anniversary of lock down)

Set me in a forest

set me at the sea

set me on a mountain

set me down wherever

I may want to be.

Where imagination takes me

unchained by lock-down conformity,

where sun and rain do not constrain

and I am free, I am free.

Set me in a valley

set me on a hill

set in a cavern

set me down wherever

words will echo still.

Words within the music

of some song or melody

that washes walls with colour

and identity, identity.

So set me alone,

or in good company,

set me in a sharing place

or set me privately;

despite the chains that lock-down constrains

I will still be free, still be free.
